In April 2016, we were contacted by Camp Narrows Lodge, in Ontario Canada, to re-design its main website, to be released on the web during summer 2016. While new website hasn’t gone live yet, its new design is finished and prepared for transfer.
Having worked with Camp Narrows Lodge on Rainy Lake Ontario, and its owner Tom Pearson these last few years, we modeled this new website’s design off of previous work we’ve done with their sister website, www.ontariohunting.ca. We created a new website with similar layout and design scheme, graphics, and format.
With the knowledge that Camp Narrows original website was due for a re-design, and that they’d be transferring the domain address to a different provider (release for summer 2016), we wanted to complete the new design to make this transition seamless. With this new CMS system, Camp Narrows Lodge will be able to maintain and update the website themselves, and have full control of its website hosting, e-mails, domain address, and the website pages.
Project included WordPress CMS software installation and development, followed by layout design and construction, and custom graphics implementation. Project took nearly 3 weeks to complete in April 2016, encompassing lodging and hospitality pages, Rainy Lake and Ontario fishing and hunting informational pages, Canada outdoor resources information, image galleries, blog formatted pages, and news and articles. All custom design was built with Camp Narrows Lodge provided page contents, imagery and media.
