Joel DeBoer is a professional angler who specializes in musky fishing, outdoor writer, internet personality, outdoor educator, product promoter and tournament angler. He has spent his life pursuing his finned friends, especially big toothy critters, in the waters of the upper Midwest and Canada all the while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors in “God’s Country.” Through countless days and nights on the water, Joel has worked hard to uncover big-fish locations while perfecting the techniques necessary to produce fish from them. As an outdoor writer and educator, Joel is involved in a myriad of fishing-related promotional and educational events including teaching fishing techniques through both classroom and on-the-water clinics.
In April 2016, we collaborated with Joel DeBoer on a new website design project to showcase his promotional and professional fishing services, and create a website to promote his sponsors and partner brands.
Joel came to us after his former design and web hosting company was charging an arm and a leg for routine updating, and monthly hosting. Joel then fired them. For less than their amount and outrageous fees, we were able to build Joel a brand new website that caters specifically to him and what his needs and requirements were. Best of all, we allow Joel the freedom to maintain and update his website free of charge! We trained him following website completion.
Project included WordPress CMS software installation and development, followed by layout design and construction, and custom graphics implementation. Project took less than a full week to complete during mid April, encompassing promotional links and advertisements for Joel’s fishing and outdoors industry sponsors, pages showcasing his talents and media contributions, image galleries, blog formatted pages, and news and articles. All design built with Joel DeBoer’s provided page contents, imagery and media, and sponsor media.
